Metal in the Mountains returns for its 4th year on June 5th, 6th, 7th 2020! It is West Virginia’s premier Rock, Hard Rock, and Metal Festival and it’s time you save the date for the only Metal festival in West Virginia.

There will be Facebook Lives for you to tune in and ask questions.

The word is that band announcements may begin sometime this month but it won’t stop me from getting my tickets and being part of this 3-day weekend.
It’s about music as much as it is hanging out with your people. You know, the kind of people you connect with on a level that may be hard to explain. Music brings us all together and it’s within this community I feel most at home.
Jumping on the Facebook page and reading the reviews it’s easy to see that this is a great venue to hang out together, young and for the young at heart.
And if you like camping, you can do so across the street at the state park, which is more than likely hat I’ll be doing with my circle of people. There’s nothing like it, to hang out during the day and into the evening hours rocking out to some amazing bands and then return to the campground and just kinda keep it going for a bit.
Metal in the Mountains isn’t huge by any means but it’s just big enough so that everyone feels like family. Everyone is looking out for each other, the kids who are learning about moshing are well protected and the young at heart still join into the fun of the occasional pit.
