Are you wondering why you need fun in your life?
Making time for fun generates new energy, it restores you and your inner-being, it gives you the opportunity to relax and rejuvenates you. It allows space for happiness to grow and emerge.
It gives you the opportunity to let go of problems and worries for a short time. Allowing yourself to let go gives you the energy to attack your challenges. It’s also a process of healing from all the problems which will seem a lot less intense.
When you give your brain the opportunity to not focus on what MUST be done and what your problems are, it frees your mind to allow the doorway to gain new insight and understanding.
So why again should you make time for fun?
The notion that we must break ourselves to get ahead is insane. The problem is that we forget about ourselves and the things we need for ourselves.
Making time for fun may increase a feeling of happiness.
It may force you to so no to someone who is asking you to do something for them
Start by making a list of 100 things you like to do or what you want to do.
Pick 30 of them that you know you can commit to.
This is not about goal setting per se – this is more about reminding yourself all the things you enjoy doing and exploring new things that you’ve been wanting to do, for fun!
But yeah it’s kind of like a goal with the result you finding you happiness among all that you want to be, do and have!
You work all week long so schedule your Saturday afternoon with things you have been neglecting but you love.
You will thank yourself!
Your family will thank you!
You will notice an improvement in your life!
You are more likely to achieve your goal, when you have someone that can support during moments where it might be difficult to show up or when you aren’t sure what step would be the best one that aligns with your goal!
