Again for black history month, I’m doing appreciation for black artists in Metal/Rock/punk
Today I would like to highlight a legend in the state, a man that has paved the road for many African American vocalists! Broke barriers with his deep lyrics and powerful presence, one of my personal favorites.
I Give you Rich Wilson Jr. From One Slack Mind!! Rich has been a huge player in the metal scene from his days with No Saner to the formulation of One Slack. He’s a very gifted lyricist with a demanding presence which I’ve had the honor of seeing and sharing the stage with! So check out One Slack Mind! If you haven’t then you need to now! He’s more than just an artist if you had to chance to speak with him, he has a huge heart and a brilliant mind!!!
