I am not here to be your inspiration

I am don’t have a problem to be your inspiration – but I am much more interested to guide into into being motivated to create the change you want in your life + business.

Of course, there is something to be said about telling the story of overcoming challenges and facing some really hard times and how I’ve created the change in my life in which I no longer feel like a victim. And honestly it comes from having clarity of what I want to be, do and have in my life and then being brutally honest with myself about the excuses I am making.

But to me inspiration has no meaning if you don’t take action. It becomes just another word, like saying sorry millions of times. But you are not sorry or inspired if you don’t start creating the change you want to see in your life.

I can tell you where I have been, what I have done and even how I have done it! But the key is calling yourself out on your own bullshit and be willing to do the work required to create change – often from the inside out while also taking action.

Without taking action you will not rise above the stores that are holding you back and your life will simply remain the same, filled with frustration and lacking the oomph to do something about it.

And you have to ask yourself, when is enough, enough?

At what point are you going to stop watching everyone else follow their heart and do the things they want to do? And I feel like I need to say this, this isn’t about money although money play a part in it. I think to get started, money may not be the most important thing to look at although it can be in the picture.

I say this, because writing a book – no money needed but the finished product could, of course, lead to additional income. Creating art, some minima investment for materials but the peace and joy you feel creating art, no money can replace that – and if you’re so inclined could lead to additional income.

All my life all I wanted to do is write and create art and I have done that since my late teens – and making time for that every single day is important to me so hat I can be the best version of myself for my family and my clients.

What I focus on are the things that make me feel good, bring me joy and bring peace into my world because if I only focus on my money part – I am losing my steam so to speak. Be your inspiration is in part putting yourself first.

So I want to ask you, when will you give yourself permission to have kind of life where you get to do things you want to do.
When will you own that you are in control and have the power to make the changes you want to make?

There is no overnight success in achieving our dreams and goals and truly feeling good about who we are. It takes practice and pushing you out of the comfort zone and a willingness to be honest with yourself of what you want, why you want it and what has been holding you back – and then commit to changing the story.

It means showing up even when other people call you crazy and try to tell you to keep playing it safe. But all that hard work, crushing those fears and quieting the doubts, ask yourself are you worth it?

Of course, you are.

Creating a life that feels good and creating things that bring you joy, all of it is worth it. And you can be your inspiration for yourself when you clearly state what you want to be, do and have but the challenge is finding that clarity!

You don’t have to do it alone!
