Every now and again I can be found writing a little bit of poetry and I wanted to share some of that. I recently had to make a decision causing feelings raging like a storm and in a fit of hurt and anger, I wrote these words.
The sadness, the anger
a vicious circle of pain
I knew I’ve should have run
because there was nothing to gain
These feelings raging like a storm
My heart is aching
Let this not again be my norm
my soul is not for the taken
The sadness washes over me
My hearts on fire
why did I do this to me
Jumping into something bigger than me
The anger rises inside my soul
Twirling like a tornado
Asking me to let it go
Before it swallows me in the current
