Think about anyone you know who is incredibly successful.

Do these people do everything themselves? Do they do it all themselves?

Think of your favorite musician or band – they may write the songs and develop the tunes but they don’t do the legal work, marketing, advertising or public relations. Yes, they may come on a live stream or do an interview but in general the big headlines don’t necessarily reach out themselves.

They have a success team that they are surrounded by.

These are people who are experts in their chosen fields. They are probably amongst the best in the world. They are people the musicans and bands trusts implicitly to do the job, with her best interests at heart.

But while they may trust these people, they don’t just leave them running the empire they have built for themselves. They are in constant communication and ensuring that things are running smoothly.

Any successful person you can think of will have a team around them.

And creating your own success team will help you build your own empire so you can embody world denomination. Whether it is accountability partners, accountants, coaches, mentors or other needed experts.

Quite simply, you can’t do everything yourself. There is no way you can have the level of expertise you need to succeed in all the areas you need.

When it comes to following your dreams + goals, it’s important that you stay in your own personal zone of genius and do that thing you’re really good at. Of course, when you’re multi-passionate like myself that can be a bit more challenging but not impossible.

If you’re not good at building websites, then you would reasonably anticipate that you outsource this. Or if you are struggling with a marketing strategy and implementing it, you would hire someone to help you.

By picking a team to help you and guide you, you give yourself the time to focus on your area of speciality.

So what should you look for in your success team? Someone who

  • You feel a connection to and comfortable with
  • Is dedicated to keeping up to date with their professional education
  • Has an excellent track record in their field
  • Has excellent references that you can check up
  • Integrates well with the rest of your success team

Where would you find your success team?

The best way is to find them from personal recommendation.

Look through the Yellow Pages, call people up and interview them. You, you interview them to see if they are a good match for you and you can reasonably expect to work as a team together. Create a list of questions you want to ask them.

A success team isn’t just lawyers and accountants, it could also be an accountability partner or mastermind support. you could also consider your friends, family, and colleagues who support you and believe in what you are doing. It’s much better to have them around you than naysayers who will drag you down and try to stop you succeeding. Because really who has time for all the complaining and whining these days?

Surrounding yourself with a team will give you the opportunity to focus on what you do best for yourself and your life + business. Your success team can focus on what they do best, freeing up your time and efforts to become even more successful.
