Photos give your website and blog a visual appeal and creating your own stock photos can be incredibly time-consuming if photography isn’t your thing.

Images grab people’s attention and when you are writing so people will actually read your content, you are going to need photos to make that happen. When you are first starting out, however, it can be challenging when you are on a tight budget and you want to keep your expenses for your blog at a minimum.

Sure, you could go to the nearest search engine and snag a picture, but not only is that unethical it is illegal. I don’t know how many times I had an inquiry to build a website and people send me pictures that they found on google and I needed to explain to them that this isn’t good for their business.

Pexels

Pexels is one of the must-have sites, as they are often up to 50 new photos perfect for your website or new blog post.

UNSPLASH

This is by far one of my favorite website for images to use. Sometimes they have the rawest and realest picture when I am trying to purposely stay away from perfection.

Images in my inbox on the regular? Yes, please! Again another favorite and new pictures curated come straight into your mailbox for you to download.

There is no reason you can’t have amazing images for your website and blog and you don’t have to break the bank.

As a foster kid, she knows the challenges and excuses people make as she rewrote her own story and then worked her way through to become a Master's level therapist. Petra helps you dive deeply into the heart of things in order to discover your next steps, inspires you to set up your own personal framework so you can break free from fear, doubt, and overwhelm so you can start creating the life you want now. Petra uses her personal story to inspire and motivate people into doing the work they need to do to create change because she believes that your excuses are just avoidance.
