We are coming to the end of the first half of the year so with that in mind, what are your goals for the next 30 days? And the 30 days after that? And 30 days after that? Whether you want to write a book, start a business, take a course or some other personal goal, not staying focused and allowing overwhelm rule you, will hardly ever lead to the finish line of achieving your goal!
If you spend all your energy carrying out daily tasks leaving little time for the most important part of helping you achieve your goals, when will you make time for you?
Achieving a goal requires for you to decide which strategies will be most helping and a way to evaluate your objectives. And since the beginning of March and the world started feeling chaotic, I have been more of social media than on, and more focusing on what I wanted to create and taking solid and consistent action.
Every Month starts with a plan of what I want to be, do and have and I take those goals and create actions that support them and then sprinkle the activities through my weekly and daily actions, as well as meeting with my accountability partner.
Since then, due to more focused work sessions and creating/removing habits I’ve not only created a solid exercise regimen I can follow, I’ve also started a garden, cleaned up our yard, increased my income but more importantly have solidified some of my business activities and clarified a few more projects I want to work on in the next 6 months!
This is what happens, when you write your objectives on a weekly or monthly basis and have accountability and support to achieve them.
Here’s the thing, if you’re not specific about what you want to be, do or have – then taking action is going to be a challenge for you because you aren’t clear on where to get started or what to do every day.
So I am asking you, what are your goals for the next 30 days? Are you finding yourself hesitating with your answer?
Is it because you don’t really think it’s possible for you? Do you not believe you are worth it? Do you think you’re not good enough?
Meh, we all start somewhere and it always starts with a decision to eliminate the doubts, fears and stories that try to hold you back.
Take the time to reflect and ponder what it is you want to be, do and have. What would make the greatest and biggest impact in the next 30 days?
Your dreams + goals need your attention, your energy and your dedication if you want to achieve them.
