I invited Ron to the conversation – his artwork caught my eye when a post mentioned that as he is raffling off one of his guitars for the Blue Ridge Rock Fest coming in a couple of weeks – September 8-9, 2019.
Ron is really a great example about how a talent that he had but neglected for some time – finding himself in advertising and eventually relocating – and picking up painting to do something with his time and the next thing he knew, he was painting on guitars and finding himself building a business.
He now works with artists to create one of a kind painted guitars as well as travels to various festivals throughout the year. But something that always makes me heart smile is the giving that happens.
Ron William’s work has helped to raise funds for charitable organizations Cancer Sucks, Wounded Warrior Project, Take Me Home Animal Rescue, Dyin’ 2 Live/ FC Cancer Foundation, Love Hope Strength Foundation, The USO, Riki’s Ride and Claire’s Place Foundation, among others.
