Embracing my inner rebel meant that I would be doing life and business differently – which is why I probably have started over more than I can I sometimes want to admit and why I couldn’t keep a job for more than 3.5 years before finally starting a business that would help me create change in my life.

This is why The Rebels Den exists because I know there other’s just like me.

People like me, who believe that we can have the cake and eat it too.

People who are tired of trying to stuff themselves into a box just to run it of air to breathe.

People who just want to do what they feel passionate and purposeful about to create change in their life and change the world in the process.

But let’s get real for a moment, operating an online business does not work like the Field of Dreams where if you build it, they will come.

This is where many people go wrong when starting a business. They spend time and money creating a beautiful website. Once finished, they think the work is done.

It’s not. It’s just the beginning.

To have a successful business, you must market because, without it, people will never know you exist. By marketing, people get to know you, learn about what you have to offer and then sign up for your mailing list or buy your products and services.

One of the oldest, best, and easiest ways to drive traffic to your social media channels, blog, or website and have them sign up for your email list is through regularly writing fresh content for it. When you publish new blog posts, videos, audios, graphics, and other types of content, the search engines pick it up and index it for future reference.

When people use these search engines to search for information, solutions to problems they are having, or topics they are interested in, your pages will populate and display so the person can learn more by clicking the link, going to your website or social media channel, and voila! You have traffic.

You may be thinking okay, that makes sense, but you don’t have anything to write or. talk about. Perhaps you’re worried about running out of topics to write or talk about. Don’t stress this! Even seasoned business owners struggle to come up with topics sometimes but it’s not a problem… if you have swipe files of writing prompts to turn to when you’re feeling uninspired.

The fact is, there is always something to write or talk about, you just need to open your eyes and ears to the opportunities.

As you go through your day, look around for inspiration. Listen to what others are saying.

See what people are reading or what’s being written about. Write these things down so you build a large swipe file of topics to write about when you’re lacking ideas.

You can use business marketing made easy prompts

  • Coaching areas such as business, life, health + wellness
  • E-Commerce business – handmade or other product-based business
  • Network and Affiliate Marketing

Having prompts are little gems of a secret that many of the most successful business owners have. Over the years, they’ve created a wealth of resources and countless lists to help them when things get tough.

These prompts can help get your creative juices flowing even if the topic is not exactly what you’re after. For example, let’s say you have a prompt about how to budget for summer vacation, but it’s wintertime and the holidays are quickly approaching. Simply create a sister topic that fits with what’s going on now. Write or talk about how to cut spending while still buying great gifts. Talk about ways to start saving now for your next vacation.

Use the ideas and see what other topics come to mind as you do so. Look for ways to give the topics a twist. Think about your target audience to see how you can apply the topics to what they are interested in or need.

With these prompts for your blog and social media channels, the possibilities are endless.

Get up every morning knowing what to do, what to write, and grow your business a little at a time.
